do you see the little plus sign by Helens avatar? that you click on to give rep and the minus sign to take it.

The idea is that they are given for posts that you find are helpful/insightful/informative etc. to show your thanks. They are not intended for 'popularity' points, and will be monitored carefully for this.

Cauldron - at the moment the rep or karma can be given freely between members, but I will be monitoring this - and if abused then I will reconsider how they can be given, and how often.....

in the profile stats you'll find how many rep points you have given and its divided into positive and negative, so we'll all see how nice or mean we all are!
