Thanks Smile

There also happened to be Garlic in blossom in the garden (there were two Garlic bulbs in blossom) so I had made another batch (small glass) for me to drink.

Yes there was a taste of Garlic in the water and the effect I felt was kind of hard to explain. The best way I could put it was like not having as many 'etheric bugs' around me...to start with...as time goes on, I will have to see. I had added some to my blend, so I'm curious myself.

@ IndigoGirl - Yes, much relief from the combined efforts of you folks and what I can do for myself. Wink

@ Twinks - What I do is get either a clear glass bowl (doesn't have to be very big) or a clear drinking glass and fill it with either spring water or purified water (it doesn't seem to matter). Find a flower that you are drawn to, or flowers*, pick them and put them in the water in the bowl. Set the bowl in sunlight for, I would recommend at least, 2 hours (I've done up to 4 - and sometimes extended if there's enough pesky clouds to interrupt things). After that, take a coffee filter paper and strain the water into another glass. From there you can do several things with it:

1 - drink it (this would be the 'mother' essence from which 'stock' bottles are made - this 'mother' essence is strongest in potency as far as 'energy' - at least I think so). I've almost always just drank the mother essence.

2 - dilute it down into 'stock' bottles using a preservative (vegetable glycerin, brandy, flavored vodka, or flavored rum - I prefer rum). You can also add a bit of Rose Water to it too (I've done this and I think it helps preserve it but seems to 'enhance' the energy of the essence). If you are going to make 'stock' bottles - the way I've done it is fill the bottle 2/3 full with the 'mother' essence and the rest of the way with a preservative (you can blend alcohol with the veg. glycerin so it doesn't taste so much like liquor). If one is alcohol sensitive, I would recommend using the veg. glycerin and Rose Water. From there you can use the 'stock' bottles, or dilute them down further to make dosage bottles.

You can take it orally, put it in cream/lotion, bathwater - or even use it to help your crystals out. I found the Garlic works better for me in my Rose Petal toner and seems to help keep the crystals up to speed by its cleansing properties:

Positive qualities:
Unitive consciousness, sense of wholeness which imparts strength and active resistance.

Patterns of imbalance:
Fearful, weak or easily influenced, prone to low vitality.

Garlic flower essence is a very important healing agent for those souls who become too diffuse in their astrality,
and therefore subject to entities of many kinds. These souls have enormous psychic forces which are scattered
or splintered, leaving them host to many other entities who prey off their life force and gain unlawful entry
into their auric field.

A wide spectrum of disturbances can be treated by Garlic essence from poor immune response
with a tendency to parasitic or viral infection, to low-grade psychism, mediumism, or possession. Garlic addresses
many forms of nervous fear which arise from the overly intense activity of various elemental beings in the astral
body. In all of these cases there is a characteristic vacancy in the eyes and paleness of features, with the
impression that soul-color and vitality is being drained or siphoned from the individuality.

Garlic flower essence
restores wholeness for such souls, helping them to consolidate and unify the astral body, and to bring it into
greater harmony with the physical and etheric bodies and the spiritual ego.

*I don't work with the poisonous plants (we have Star of Bethlehem here and I am really hesitant to make my own because the plant is poisonous - so I let that up to the 'professionals' who know what they're doing with such plants, because the heat from the sun's light will cause the release of things like the fragrance [I made White Lilac and the water smelled and tasted like Lilac...which I didn't mind] - and then just buy the essence from them).

Hope this helps!

I'm going to give this essence a try to see if it will help my left brain 'adjust' to this experience. There is a part of me that has difficulty in accepting this sort of experience because I never knew such a thing could happen.

FES Range of Light:

Fiesta Flower

Positive qualities: Vulnerability,
openness and receptivity in spiritual seeking; flexible yet strong
soul structure for core spiritual beliefs

Patterns of imbalance: Dogmatism,
rigid spiritual beliefs that are externally derived; authoritarian
social or political viewpoints

PostSubject: Re: Working with Essences   Tue 28 Jun 2011 - 16:32

This is what I put in as my order from Healing Waters

Living Tree Orchid:

Night Soul - A powerful essence to help in the darkest of times, or to help heal from
the darkest experiences of the soul. When one experiences inner or
outer devastation, deep imprints are left at profound levels of the
psyche. Night Soul is a commanding spirit, healing these deep wounds to
help make one whole again. Remember that you are the captain of your
soul, no matter the challenges which experience in this world may bring.

Voice of Courage - A major essence for healing deep levels of the solar plexus (3rd
chakra), as well as energizing the throat chakra. Brings strength of
courage as well as a renewed commitment to the soul's deep purpose in
this life. The solar plexus is likely to take many 'hits' in the course
of our life, and these minor and major impacts on the 3rd chakra can
often remain buried deep within. Voice of Courage brings healing to the
solar plexus at these deep levels, and by so doing, and despite being a
very 'yang' essence, it also helps one's sleep to be deeper and longer.
Made on the 4th/5th of July this year (2010), we will have more to say
by way of its action in due course.

Vital Core -

Vital Core is strongly energizing of the Root and 2nd chakras, as
well as the gall bladder meridian. While having some activity on the
Crown, Throat and Heart chakras, its action is primarily in the two
lower chakras whereby it provides a strong 'get up & go' effect. The
effect on the 2nd chakra is intriguing: though energizing, it is not a
sexual energizing. It helps to release stored / blocked energies,
including stored negative energies, and thereby helps to resolve shadow
aspects of the Sacral chakra. In this way, it seeks to restore the
natural sacredness of the 2nd chakra.

Vital Core works at levels beyond that of Sacral Release; it
can be a good idea to work with the latter first, and then to follow up
with some days of Vital Core. In some respects Vital Core can be seen
and used as a potent yang counterpoint to the yin qualities of Celestial
Siren, which was made the same week in November 2009.

Joyous Purification - Purifying the root chakra for both men and women. For men it can
initiate them into the feminine understanding of purity and innocence.
Whereas we often think of purification as a painful or arduous process,
the action of this essence results in an experience of joy. For women it
will help with certain sexual abuse issues by re-establishing the
natural innocence of the root chakra in a natural rise of white etheric
light. This light moves very efficiently and effectively, allowing one
to work therapeutically with the issues that have been held
subconsciously in the root chakra.

Renewing Life - A very gentle, quiet essence, yet profound in its ability to reach many
levels at once. Clears ancient negative energetic patterns at the
cellular level via the 1st, 8th, 10th and 12th chakras, renewing one's
inherent health. The root chakra governs cellular patterning and when
combined with the higher chakra action of the 10th chakra (the Source of
White Light) and the 12th chakra (the wholeness of the universe), it
makes this essence a strong candidate for healing at that level. Very
helpful when added to skin creams.

South African (both to help heal the Solar Plexus):

Flowering Gum - For those whose sense of personal authority has been undermined
by others, whose will forces have been weakened by having continuous
criticism levelled at them and are therefore undecided and uncertain
as to what path to follow. Such people look outside themselves for
authority and direction and may be despondent and lacking in motivation.
This essence brings people into their own authority, assists them
in discovering their innate talents, resuscitating their own dreams
and in developing true ambition, i.e., living the life they want
to live, not the life their parents or society have mapped out for
them.

Loquat - For those who experience fear and anxiety when faced with the demands
of life and seek to escape by avoiding participation in the life
process and withdrawing - perhaps sleeping excessively, refraining
from eating correctly, so that they are physically unable to meet
the expectations of others, or retreating into emotional disorders,
which protect them from everyday life. Symptoms such as apathy,
resignation, or perhaps an inability to activate the will are indications
for its use. This essence assists in incarnating the forces of the
personality, in taking hold of the life process and in willingly
undertaking responsibility. It is very beneficial for adolescents,
as well as for the treatment of the emotions which lie behind anorexia.

There will be more I will buy (from Lucky Vitamin)...but I have not yet settled on the list.

PostSubject: My Shark Essence   Thu 30 Jun 2011 - 14:53

I made an experimental essence on the 29th (June). I thought of making a 'Shark' essence - I've seen all these other type of 'creature' essences, including seashell ones, but never saw anyone make a Shark one. I thought this was rather unusual, but perhaps not, where - it seems - most 'spiritual-new age' stuff leans heavily away from such ferocious creatures. But because I have an affinity for the Shark, and because U-Boats were, at times, nicknamed 'steel sharks'. I thought, 'Why not?'

So, I made it using my favorite Shark's tooth (I believe it is White TIp Shark). I have a very old fossil Shark's tooth, but was wary of using that considering I'd be taking the water internally/orally. As I was making the essence, I also had some Sea Salt in the water.

When I was done I gave it a 'trial run'. The effect was exactly what I was looking for: A very 'Yang' essence. I felt immediate strengthening in the Solar Plexus area, an enhancement to my 'resolve' to see things through, and an all around no-nonsense - ruthless killer-instinct 'drive'. It enhances and integrates all aspects of one's ego. It also seems to be very helpful with 'Shadow' integration - as it makes one 'aware' of one's potential for destruction and helps to integrate that. I would also say it is helpful if one feels guilty for standing up for oneself - and putting one's foot down where it concerns the actions of others. This is a very 'anti-passivity' essence, which is what I like about it. The crystal that first came to my mind about using this was the 'heat-treated Citrine' (not the natural Citrine that is pale in color, but the Amethyst that is heat treated to create those bright yellow crysal chunks - I had read about that in 'The Book of Stones').

Other crystals that I think would go well with this would be Malachite and Peridot. (And I would add 'Master Shamanite' although I have yet to get the stone.) If one does not feel 'drawn' to the 'Master Shamanite' - a good alternative would be highly polished Black Obsidian.

As far as essential oils - I would say a blend of Lemon, German Chamomile, and Lavender and apply it on the '6-pack ab.' area, and down even to the lower abdomen (Sacral area). (One could probably add Orange, Sandalwood and Frankincense too.)

This essence almost reminds me of how the Bailey blend I got was (which was mainly for the subconsciousness and anger). Because as I continued to use this, I felt the same physical effect as I did with the Bailey one - the tensing of the muscles that are right below the diaphragm and just above the bellybutton. So it was clearing, something out - much like that Bailey blend did. I don't know if it is subconscious fears or what, but I thought that effect was rather interesting. It is a rather 'protective' essence in that, I put it on my body in these areas and it 'cut' right through such energy blocks as 'guilt', 'unworthiness', etc. It seems to help one 'claim their rightful place'. This stuff doesn't 'screw around' and that's what I like about it.

PostSubject: Re: Working with Essences   Thu 30 Jun 2011 - 16:01

And this one as well from Lucky Vitamin (I am realizing a pattern with these - it deals mainly with 'soul pain')

Pink Monkeyflower

Positive qualities:
Emotional openness and honesty; courage to take emotional risks with others.
Patterns of imbalance:
Feelings of shame, guilt, unworthiness; fear of
exposure and rejection, hiding essential Self from others, masking one's
feelings.

Pink Monkeyflower treats a type of fear which reside in the deepest recesses of the soul: the fear of being exposed,
of others seeing one’s pain and vulnerability. Such persons experience a profound sense of shame, and thus
have a need to hide or mask themselves as a form of protection.

The Pink Monkeyflower remedy type withdraws in a way
that is more pronounced than ordinary shyness, for the soul is attempting to cover deeply internalized wounds
from the past. Most frequently, early childhood trauma or abuse-or exploitative and debasing experiences at any
phase of life-are the hidden factors of behavior. These souls are highly sensitive and bear deep pain within
themselves. They very much want to reach out and be loved by others, but often fail at making real contact. Such
individuals are highly sensitive to being seen, both literally and metaphorically. They are also very vulnerable
to being touched and making physical contact with others.

Pink Monkeyflower gently opens such souls by helping
them to take emotional risks again. In this way, they begin to experience the love and the contact which they
so desperately need and want. Pink Monkeyflower is a remedy which is especially effective for the heart, teaching
that it is only by remaining open and risking-vulnerability that one can experience the warmth of human love
and affection.

PostSubject: Re: Working with Essences   Fri 8 Jul 2011 - 19:25

I decided to do an exchange with one of the FES essences since it was on back order - rather than the Rue, I went for the Shasta Lily:

Positive qualities: Dynamic and creative expression of feminine
soul forces, individuality and internal strength in alignment with core
feminine soul values

Patterns of imbalance:
Difficulty balancing feminine grace
with masculine strength; over-compensation of masculine traits in order
to appear strong or unique

Shasta Lily (FES
Range of Light)

The Shasta Lily is a universally beneficial flower
essence for woman of all ages and also for men. It is especially
indicated for women
who wish to integrate soul strength with the beauty of the feminine.
The flower essence can be very helpful during the menopausal transition,
when the hormonal balance shifts. The Shasta Lily helps such women
to acknowledge the attributes of masculine side of the soul — like
strength, power and independence — without forsaking the essential
grace and beauty of the feminine. The following case report succinctly
summarizes the major qualities of Shasta Lily: "In taking the
Shasta Lily flower essence I noted an overall balancing and stabilizing
effect... It is much easier to maintain my identity as a beautiful,
loving being in the midst of density and chaos. I am able to remain
focused on the truth and beauty of God within every being and every
situation. It's as if I feel safe "being" love and beauty — I
do not have to hide any longer in an effort to protect myself from
what I once perceived would gobble me up and swallow me whole. I once
believed that beauty and love were somehow weak and vulnerable — not
tough, strong, and withstanding. Now, I see the truth. Love and beauty
are the most resilient fibers of the fabric of life, filling me with
each breath.

Flower essences help lots of people -- I've seen the benefits in quite a few of the folks I've encountered over the years -- but, as with anything, they don't work for everyone. When they do, though, oh boy do they make a difference! Well worth looking into.

Yeah - what works for one may or may not work for another...that's how it is with any healing modality. I think the reason why I focus much on these, compared with other things, is because I've used these the most and they are the things that have helped me the most. Smile

PostSubject: Re: Working with Essences   Fri 5 Aug 2011 - 2:07

I've been working with some essences lately -

Scottish Thistle - which I really love due to its protective qualities.

'Behold the Silence' by Living Tree Orchid - which has really helped the body's psyche to put 'the past in the past' - it's helped it to move on from its life prior to the soul exchange.

FES Flourish Activ8 - I really love this and am using it with some of the Behold the Silence in it which works out really well in my situation. This also has some essential oils of Cinnamon and Cardamom. Because it has Cinnamon in it - a popular 'money' and 'prosperity' oil, I had added some ground Ginger, Cloves, ground Nutmeg, and Allspice to the essence. I think it helps 'tie' it all in - the herbs - the essential oils - and the essences. And today as I was munching on some 'complimentary fortune cookies' from the Chinese restaurant...there were two fortunes which I got that I taped to the bottle:

"Action is the basis of success"

"There are dreamers and there are achievers. The difference between the two is action!"
